While the RockUp earned its reputation as a go-to gun for serious, heavy days, many surfers found it too “gunny” for anything short of perfect barrels. Starting with the RockUp’s proven chassis, designer Matt Biolos widened and added curve to the final 24" of the tail, transitioning from a narrow pin to a more forgiving rounded pin. This adjustment alone enhances maneuverability and responsiveness while preserving hold in powerful surf. The rocker, foil, and forward outline remain true to the RockUp, but the rails have been softened and slightly filled out, raising the apex to offer added volume and forgiveness.
