To balance the reduced tail surface, the nose outline is slightly fuller, maintaining overall volume and paddle power.
Performance-wise, the SpearFish shares the GrinderX’s moderate rocker and single concave running through the board, enhanced by a double concave inset between the fins for lift and drive. A subtle vee off the tail introduces additional rail rocker, improving bite and maneuverability. Additionally, a short channel off the tail starting about 7 inches up reduces pressure and adds speed and hold.
