Lug-Nut E-Series – Compact, Curvy, and Dialed for Precision Surfing
The Lug-Nut E-Series is a stripped-down, precision-tuned shortboard designed with wave pools in mind but tested and proven in the ocean. Adapted into the E-Series format, it runs approximately 3" shorter than a traditional board, with the last 5" of the bottom blended into the deck to create an accelerated nose lift. This not only improves vertical maneuverability but also removes unnecessary swing weight—balancing foam distribution for a lighter, more responsive feel.
Originally developed from extensive observation (and personal testing) at the Surf Ranch in Lemoore, the Lug-Nut trims away excess and focuses purely on what works. The board features a shorter, curvier outline, with balanced thicknessfrom nose to tail, low but quick-entry nose rocker, and a curvier tail rocker that helps it stay tight and nimble in critical pockets. The refined rail profile further enhances its sensitivity and precision.
Though built for engineered perfection, the Lug-Nut surprised in natural waves—thriving in small, punchy surf with curvature and push, making it a versatile, modern choice beyond just pool walls.
