WATCH NOEL SALAS' REVIEW >

The Xanadu Moskah, named after the "fly," is a high-performance shortboard built for speed, wave-catching ability, and seamless transitions. Designed to keep you buzzing around the lineup and maximizing your session, the Moskah is tuned for fluid surfing with just the right balance of control and responsiveness.

The board features a smooth nose rocker down the stringer line for easy entry into waves, transitioning into a flatter tail rocker for continuous down-the-line drive. The rail rocker, however, is more curved through the nose area, helping the board release quickly when setting up turns. Between the front and back foot, the rocker stays flatter for added speed, while an increased curve near the tail enhances release off the top—perfect for quick snaps and above-the-lip surfing.

Its bottom contour moves from a flat vee in the nose to a single concave through the middle, finishing flat in the last few inches of the tail. Combined with a medium dome deck and smooth outline, the Moskah promotes consistent, stylish surfing with an easy-to-access performance envelope.

Pros:

* Excellent wave-catching and paddling ability
* Fast, drivey feel with fluid transitions and turns
* Great tail release for above-the-lip or snappy surfing
* Smooth outline promotes flow and line connection

Cons:

* Best suited for surfers who enjoy a flowing, high-speed style
* May not have the ultra-tight pivot of boards with aggressive tail contours

Summary:
The Xanadu Moskah is a fast, responsive, and wave-hungry shortboard that shines in conditions where flow, drive, and quick transitions are key. Its balanced rocker profile and smooth outline create a platform for stylish, consistent surfing—whether you’re linking rail turns or hitting the lip. Ideal for surfers who want a board that catches waves easily but still performs with modern precision.
